Notes:
Watson, Fletcher & Nye (1980) stated:-

A junior homonym of Nemeta Walker, 1855, ibidem 4: 968, Lepid., Limacodidae. There is no objective replacement name, but Nemeta basifusca is conspecific with Nemeta bifacies Walker, 1855, the type-species of Nemeta Walker, 1855, ibidem 4: 968; the latter is thus available for use as a subjective replacement name.

Nemeta Walker, 1855, ibidem 5: 1083 was established in the Notodontidae; Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1 placed it in the Limacodidae on page 525 and in the Notodontidae on page 620. It is currently included in the Limacodidae in the synonymy of Phobetron Hübner, [1825].
