Notes:
Fletcher (1979) stated:-

A junior objective synonym of Campaea Lamarck, 1816.

Included by Duponchel as * Metrocampe margaritaria Treitschke; * Metrocampe, attributed to Latreille, is an incorrect authorship and an incorrect subsequent spelling; margaritaria is an unjustified emendation of margaritata and Treitschke an incorrect authorship.

Metrocampus Berthold originated from the vernacular name Métrocampe, used by Latreille, 1825, Familles naturelles du Règne Animal: 477.

See: CAMPAEA Lamarck, 1816.

Parsons et al. (1999) included ERATOPIS R.L. [Reichenbach], 1817; METROCAMPA Braund, 1846; METROCAMPUS Berthold, 1827; and TRIBACIS Billberg, 1820 as junior synonyms of CAMPAEA Lamarack, 1816.
