Anatolis, when established, was not placed in a family; it was placed in the Zygaenidae by Kirby, 1892, Synonymic Cat. Lepid. Heterocera 1: 86; and was placed in the Dioptidae by Prout, 1918, Novit. zool. 25: 418.
