Fletcher (1979) stated:-

P. unipunctata is treated by Forbes, 1948, Mem. Cornell Univ. agric. Exp. Stn no.274: 61 as a senior subjective synonym of Hypagyrtis pustularia Hübner, 1818.

P. unipunctata is dated from the wrapper, not from the title-page, which is dated 1803.

Parsons et al. (1999) included AMILAPIS Guenée, 1858; and PARAPHIA Guenée, 1858 as junior synonyms of HYPAGYRTIS Hübner, 1818.
