Fletcher (1979) stated:-

A junior homonym of Euphemia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830, Mém. prés. div. Sav. Acad. Sci. Inst. Fr. 2: 485 - Diptera. There is no objective replacement name, but E. mollis is believed to be congeneric with Neobapta indecora Warren, 1904, the type-species of Neobapta Warren, 1904. The latter is thus available as a subjective replacement name.

See: NEOBAPTA Warren, 1904.

Parsons et al. (1999) included EUPHEMIA Warren, 1907 as a junior synonym of NEOBAPTA Warren, 1904.
