Hi, Does anyone know what animal (maybe bird) left this behind on our wall over night? Its absolutely stuffed full of seeds, but its the size of dog poo so we can't think of any birds that might have done it!
Would it be a badger? Or is not Poo at all? As it been coughed up?
Any help gratefully received?
Thank you,
Helen
Thanks for moving this to the "Animal Life" sub-community - hope you get a response soon
It looks to be a pellet, possibly from a crow.
Thank you, that makes sense we have quite a few roosting round here and they seem to like posing on the lawn.

Hi
What is the pellet made up of
Steve
It looks like something raided a bird table or a grain store... mostly wheat type seeds. Few unidentifiable black bits and other seeds, but 80% large grains
Hi
I think its Red Fox scat the beast has been scavenging the base of bird feeders
