Two panoramic views of distant coastlines labelled a-e, each drawing framed by a black ink border and inscribed with navigational notes below. They are arranged one above the other and separated by a band of pink wash. The sea is represented by a pale grey-blue wash overlaid with short grey horizontal brush marks in the foreground, the land is coloured in shades of grey-brown and pale blue in the more distant hills, and the sky has a faint pink stain on the horizon with blue washes towards the top. The drawings are framed with a thick black ink line and a triple-banded border, the central band of which is coloured with a pink wash and contains the title, signature and date at top, with navigational notes at bottom and in the band which separates the two. Most of the outer band appears to have been lost through the drawing having been cropped.
