Bird in profile, facing to the right. It is depicted standing on a pale green base overlaid with tufts of grass and grey lines, against a plain background. The underparts of the bird are blue, except for a white patch underneath the tail. The upper parts are dark brown, heavily overlaid with black hatched lines. The bill and frontal shield are red, as are the legs. The drawing is framed by a pencil border and annotated in ink and pencil.
