Bird perched on a branch with some foliage, and some vegetation at the base of the tree stump. The bird is seen in frontal view, its body turned slightly to the right, and its head turned to the left. Its wings are outstretched and display a red band that runs from the top of the underside of the wing across the breast. It has a blue head, yellow neck, blue belly, and a green tail. The drawing is framed by a pencil border and annotated in ink and pencil.
