Bird in profile, facing to the right. It is depicted standing on a pale green base overlaid with black and grey serpentine lines, against a plain background. The bird is painted predominantly in shades of blue except for a white patch under the tail. It is darker on the upper parts which are overlaid with black hatched lines. The bill and frontal shield are red, as are the legs, except for the black joints. The drawing is framed by a pencil border and annotated in ink and pencil.
