Woody, upright branch from a flowering tree or shrub, with flower buds and fruit, against a plain background. The leaves are eliptic. Those depicting the upper-side of the leaf are dark green with pale yellow vein, while those depicting the undersides are paler green, and younger leaves are brown. Two flower buds towards the top of the branch are brown and cone-like with pink detail. The fruit in the centre of the branch is brown, pointing upwards and pear-shaped. The drawing is signed by Watling and annotated in brown ink.
