Chestnut brown furry mammal depicted from above with its head facing to the left, against a plain background. The four legs are spreadeagled to show the loose skin along the sides of the mammal. The tail is narrow with a central spine clearly delineated, and is almost the same size as the body. The drawing is signed by Watling, annotated in brown ink and framed by a pencil border.
