Bird depicted in frontal view, its body turned slightly to the left and its head in profile to the right. It is perched on a branch against a plain background. The bird has a black crown and a white throat. The underparts are predominantly yellow - white, and the upper parts are brown with black markings and overlaid with white detail. The drawing is framed by a pencil border and annotated in ink and pencil.
