hide detailed image description

Tree, with detail of flowering branch drawn to natural size, against a plain background. The lower half of the drawing contains a view of the whole tree, standing on a green base. The trunk is slender and pale brown to ochre, and the foliage is represented in clumps with a green wash overlaid with dark green horizontal lines, and pale yellow and grey dots. Above is a detail of a flowering branch. It has a brown stem, green lanceolate leaves with one darker surface and one paler, both overlaid with darker venation, and cream, pendulous bell-like flowers with separated petals and black stamens visible between them. At centre left there is a detail of the stamens with black filaments and yellow anthers. The drawing is annotated in brown ink.
