Bird in profile, with its body facing to the right and its head turned to the left, perched on a tree branch against a plain background. The face, bill and throat are black. The body is blue-grey, overlaid with darker grey hatched lines. Wing and tail feathers are dark grey and also overlaid with darker hatched detail and paler grey highlights. The drawing is framed by a pencil border and annotated in ink and pencil.
