Bird facing to the left, perched on a tree stump with some vegetation at its base but an otherwise plain background. The bird has a blue crown and a red band across its forehead and cheek, with a small yellow patch behind its eye and yellow gold at the back of its neck. The front parts of the bird are pale blue through to yellow and green, while the upper parts are green. The drawing is framed by a pencil border and annotated in ink and pencil.
