Portrait of an aboriginal man named Colebee decorated for a funeral, framed in tondo with a black ink border measuring 11.9 cm. in diameter. His torso is facing forwards and his head is turned in profile to the left. His skin is pale brown overlaid with painted decoration, including a white stripe outlined in red ochre which runs up the side of his face and round his forehead, and a band of mottled white, grey and red ochre which runs up his arms to his shoulders, and down across his chest. The background is plain and the drawing is annotated in brown ink.
