Genus Tenuipalpus (Acarina: Tenuipalpidae) from central Punjab, Pakistan

Abstract

Tenuipalpus Donnadieu is the largest genus of the family Tenuipalpidae. Species of this genus mostly occur in warmer areas of Pakistan. Two new species, Tenuipalpus waqasii sp. nov. and Tenuipalpus jawadii sp. nov., from central Punjab are described in this paper. Both species belong to the sub-group bakeri of the genus Tenuipalpus.
