Boetophela cassandrae sp. nov. and the first record of Tamarangia nimfae Haitlinger, 1991 (Acari: Astigmata: Canestriniidae) from the Republic of South Africa

Abstract

Boetophela cassandrae sp. nov. is described and illustrated from a Cetoniinae beetle from the Republic of South Africa. Tamarangia nimfae Haitlinger is reported for the first time from the Republic of South Africa. A key to the species (females) of Boetophela is provided.
