We all know water is important, but where on Earth did it come from?  Has Earth always had water or was it delivered to our planet by another cosmic body?

NASA and JAXA have both undertaken ambitious missions to asteroids across the solar system in search of answers, returning in 2020 and 2023 respectively.

But sometimes clues are found closer to home in the shape of meteorites.

Join Museum scientist Helena Bates to discover what we can learn from studying meteorites and whether water-rich asteroids really hold the answers about the role of water in the early solar system, and how it ended up on Earth.
