In September 2018, a devastating fire engulfed Brazil's oldest scientific institute, the National Museum (Museu Nacional) in Rio de Janeiro.
Many priceless items were lost forever, but staff managed to save some, and even among the ashes there were survivors.
Join us to hear from Cristina Serejo, Deputy Director of the Museu Nacional about how the museum is working to restore its collections and, in partnership with the Natural History Museum, secure them for the future.
