Join Winnie-the-Pooh and friends on their adventures around the Museum with an exclusive book reading.
In honour of the 95th anniversary of Winnie-the-Pooh, highly-talented author Jane Riordan has created Winnie-the-Pooh: Once There Was a Bear, a wonderful collection of stories following all your favourite characters.
Told in the style of A. A. Milne and decorated with beautiful illustrations by Mark Burgess in the style of E. H. Shepard, the book explores life before the Hundred Acre Wood.
In this free book reading Christopher Robin takes Pooh, Piglet and Eeyore on a day trip to the Natural History Museum where they meet some of its prehistoric creatures.
After the reading, you will have the chance to explore the Museum galleries to find the animals Pooh and friends encountered and purchase a copy of Winnie-the-Pooh: Once There Was a Bear in the Museum shop.

We are open!
Entry to the Museum remains free, but since we closed our doors we've been losing vital income. Donations will help us to continue welcoming visitors and connecting people to nature through inspiring stories and educational activities.
So if you could help us with a donation - no matter the size - we'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
