Members Family Workshop: Charles Darwin’s Explorers
Put on your explorer’s hat and help legendary scientist Charles Darwin solve the mystery of the lost diary page.
In this hands-on adventure, children will team up to solve three exciting mysteries by unlocking clues along the way. Each clue brings them one step closer to uncovering what animal holds the key to Charles Darwin’s groundbreaking theory of evolution by natural selection.
With Charles leading the way, young adventurers will take on fun challenges and work as a team to piece together the missing diary page. Bring the kids along to see if they can crack the code and help Charles solve this scientific puzzle.
Combining curiosity, creativity and a whole lot of fun, this immersive event is perfect for inquisitive young minds and budding scientists alike. Every great discovery starts with a little curiosity so don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind experience for kids.

- Seating is available in the event space.
- Guide dogs are welcome at the Museum and at this event. Water for them is available on request.
- The nearest accessible toilet is on our Ground Floor at the back of Hintze Hall. We also have a Changing Places toilet in our Blue Zone.

- Tickets to this event are available to Members only.
- Tickets are non-transferrable and no refunds or exchanges will be given.
- This event is best suited to those aged six to eleven but children of all ages are welcome.
