From hands-on crafts to explorers’ tours, join us with your family for a morning of discovery for curious minds and nature lovers.
Come explore, play and create at our Members Family Morning, perfect for little explorers with big imaginations.
Find secret hideouts in our recently transformed gardens, where creatures big and small are waiting to be discovered. Peek into our ponds and meet the tiny creatures that call them home. Wander down winding paths filled with surprises and uncover nature’s hidden treasures along the way. Settle in at the Bug Amphitheatre for captivating stories that bring the wonders of creepy crawlies to life. Then let your creativity run wild in our arts and crafts session, using colours and textures from nature.
With explorer tours, crafts and surprises around every corner, it’s a morning designed to delight curious kids and their grown-ups too.

This event is fully wheelchair accessible.
If you’re unable to wait in queues for long periods, speak to our security staff and they’ll fast track your entry.
Guide dogs are welcome at the Museum. Water for them is available on request.
The nearest accessible toilets are on our Ground Floor in our Orange Zone. We also have a Changing Places toilet in our Blue Zone.
Blue Badge parking spaces are available on request.

All ages are welcome, but content is recommended for ages 6–10.
Maximum of three children per adult.
Tickets to this event are for our members only.
Tickets are non-transferrable, and no refunds or exchanges will be given.
We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the event as required, such as adjusting the locations, timings or content of the activities. This is to ensure that we deliver a safe and excellent experience for visitors at all times.
