Join us for a fun-filled morning of activities, workshops and crafts, all themed around our world-famous dinosaur collection and the opening of our new exhibition Birds: Brilliant and Bizarre.

Meet CBeebies star Andy Day, who’s celebrating the launch of his latest book Dino Dad, and make sure to grab a photo with Andy’s clock in Hintze Hall. Andy will be running a whole bunch of activities, including a dinosaur draw-along with multi-award-winning illustrator Steven Lenton and a special story time where he’ll read from his new book. Plus, get involved in hands-on crafting under Hope our blue whale and loads of dinosaur-themed activities.

Enjoy a light breakfast when you arrive. Then spend the morning exploring our world-famous Dinosaurs Gallery, buzzing about our Creepy Crawlies Gallery or flying into our new birds exhibition before we open to the public for the day.
