Gavin Thurston, cameraman from Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II, tells extraordinary  stories of tracking down and filming the planet's most captivating creatures.

Gavin has traveled to some of the world's remotest places to capture footage of the animal kingdom. Lions, silverback gorillas, capuchin monkeys, brown bears, grey whales, penguins, mosquitoes - you name it, he's filmed it.

Step into the cameraman's hidden world and learn about the endless hours, the lurking dangers and the life-affirming moments that happen both on- and off-camera. Following a Q&A session, Members will have the chance to meet Gavin during a book signing for his new book, Journeys in the Wild.

Sir David Attenborough says, 'I have worked with Gavin on and off for over 30 years. He is, as his diary entries reveal, a most knowledgeable and perceptive naturalist. But now I realise he has one talent I had not previously suspected. He is a vivid writer with an ability to describe scenes with great economy and unflinching accuracy.'
