Join Chris Rainier, National Geographic photographer and Director of the Cultural Sanctuaries Foundation, as he discusses a lifetime spent documenting traditional communities around the world.
Chris will discuss how many indigenous communities could be key for the conservation of the planet's precious biodiversity and climate. 80% of the world’s remaining biodiversity lies in the 15% of earth that is lived on by indigenous people. With a backdrop of over thirty years of photographs taken around the globe, Chris will take the audience on a journey to discover more about different cultures.
Following the talk the audience will have a chance to ask questions, as well as take part in a book signing of Chris' new book, Mask.
