Explore the Museum after hours.

Join us for a late-night opening of the Museum where you can enjoy two of our temporary exhibitions and a selection of open galleries including the impressive Earth Hall and the ever-popular lasting impressions gallery, all while the Museum is closed to the public.

Immerse yourself in the breathtaking diversity of the natural world in our fifty-sixth Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and discover our Fantastic Beasts™: The Wonder of Nature exhibition, where the real and Wizarding World intertwine.

Visitors will have time to enjoy both exhibitions, roam the open galleries and enjoy a drink in the cafe. 

Members can book a free ticket to this event on a first come first serve basis. When all of the free tickets have been reserved, Members will receive 10% off.

    Members may only book free or discounted tickets for themselves and anyone included within their membership type. Additional guests will not be admitted. Please bring your membership card with you to the event.

    Conditions and important information

    Bookings are required.

    No refunds or exchanges will be given.

    Doors will open from 18.30 until 20.30. Due to social distancing you may have to queue for a short while during busy periods.

    Some parts of the Museum will be closed during the event, the galleries which will be open are: Earth Hall, Birds and Lasting Impressions.

    A free ticket for a carer accompanying a guest with a disability can be requested on +44 (0)20 7942 5000, Monday to Friday, 9.30-17.30, subject to availability.

    You may change your booking to an alternative date for the same event as long as you inform us at least 30 days before the date of your original booking.

    A £10 administration fee will be charged for each changed ticket. 

    The Museum reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the event as required, such as adjusting the locations, timings or content of the activities. This is to ensure that we deliver a safe and excellent experience for all guests at all times.

    The event will begin promptly. We cannot allow you to join the event after it has commenced and no refunds will be given to latecomers.
