| Description | This series was raised in the Keeper's office to contain all internal memoranda and other papers relating to the department during the Second World War. Most files relate either to the welfare and movements of the collections or to the effects of the war on the staff and their work. DF203/13-20 were raised by the Deputy Keeper, N B Kinnear, who had special responsibility for evacuation of specimens.
