| Activity | Christened Friedrich Noel Ashcroft Fleischmann, changed to Frederick Noel Ashcroft in 1914. Collected Minerals over a number of years which he donated to the Natural History Museum. From 1914 - 18 his interest was in British Zeolites, from 1921 onwards he concentrated on Swiss minerals, visiting Switzerland every year for the next 15 years Visited Rhodesia in 1929 and presented the minerals collected their to the International Geological Congress in South Africa later that year.
