Explore our galleries as a Dino Scientist in this self-guided activity.

Pupils will be given white lab coats and scientist logbooks as they take up the Dino Scientist challenge. The workbooks will lead students through our galleries and encourage them to use their scientific skills to work out the diet, movements and habitats of ancient fossil animals.

Teachers will also be given an educator's guide to help students get the most out of their visit. Groups are expected to bring their own pencils.

Learning themes: working scientifically, fossils, adaptation, teeth and feeding, bones and movement.
