On the twentieth anniversary of Gordon Beningfield's death, a range of organisations are coming together to offer events celebrating the artist's life and work, to help get you closer to the beautiful wildlife he loved so much.
July weekend event at Tring
Friday 6 July - Sunday 8 July
As part of the Beningfield 2018 celebrations the museum will host a weekend of special events at Tring.
- A pop-up exhibition of Gordon Beningfield's work
- An evening of talks about butterflies and wildlife art
- Wildlife Super Saturday activities for families
As well as the July weekend event at the Museum, there are lots of related activities throughout the year for adults and families.

Enjoy a walk to visit Butterfly Conservation's only reserve in the Hertfordshire and Middlesex area. See summer butterflies on a site where 20 different species have been recorded. More details and bookings.
