Imperial University Showcase

Location: Fossil Marine Reptiles and outside the Dinosaurs gallery

Scientists from Imperial University present their own Colour and Vision interpretations at science stations and demonstrations throughout the museum.

Discover some of the stories, specimens and science that didn’t make it into the exhibition, as told by Colour and Vision’s lead scientists, Dr Greg Edgecombe and Dr Suzanne Williams.

Specimens across the spectrum

Location: Earth Hall

Taking specimens from across the collection, we arrange them by colour alone to explore the visible spectrum and beyond. Break the rules in colourful fashion.

Fabulous food and drinks

Our bars serve a range of delicious refreshments, including cocktails, Prosecco, red and white wine, alcoholic milkshakes, pale ale, lager and soft drinks.

Refuel with tasty wraps, baguettes and sandwiches at the Central Cafe in the Blue Zone, or head to The Kitchen in the Red Zone for gourmet hot meals. Just after a snack? Crackers and crisps can be purchased at the bars.

Essential event details

Lates takes place on the last Friday of every month, except December.

Entry to the Museum is free, but you need tickets for some of the events and for exhibitions. See individual event listings for start and finish times.
