Wildlife Photographer of the Year harnesses the power of photography to inspire greater understanding of the natural world, challenging perceptions and encouraging change to preserve the beauty and diversity of Earth for future generations.
We champion ethical wildlife photography, specifically the representation of the natural world as faithfully as possible, free from excessive digital manipulation, with honesty in all captioning, and total regard for the welfare of the animals and their environment.
We are at the forefront of contemporary photography, recognising and rewarding artistic composition, narrative form and technical excellence.
