This fantastic, free outdoor exhibition of images from the world-famous Wildlife Photographer of the Year competitions is touring cities in the UK. Wild Planet is now open on Brighton seafront.
The Natural History Museum is partnering with local authorities to bring this new free exhibition to cities across the UK. Marvel at stunning, award-winning wildlife photographs on show for the first time in an outdoor setting.
Brighton's seafront is the first stop for Wild Planet on its tour of UK cities. It opened on 12 March 2010.
When you visit the exhibition, make sure you stop at the Wild Planet Store. You'll find an exciting range of gifts inspired by the wildlife images, like the beautiful Wild Planet book.
BBC wildlife expert, Chris Packham helped choose the images for the Wild Planet exhibition. He says:
'They display an astonishing diversity of life from all parts of the world....use your experience of these beautiful photographs not only to revel in the riches of our natural world, but to help secure a positive future for all the life that stalks, slithers, slimes or swims on it.'
The Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition is owned by the Natural History Museum and BBC Wildlife Magazine.
