For 15 years, the Natural History Museum has taken the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition on tour bringing the award-winning images to venues throughout the world. The exhibition is a spectacular celebration of the world's best wildlife photography and each image is captioned to reveal the story behind how it was taken. With a new collection of magnificent and memorable photographs each year, the exhibition is now a regular event in museums, galleries, zoos, nature reserves and art centres around the world.

2009 exhibition content
  • Two overall winning images, each 920x665 millimetres
  • 83 other images, each 600x600 millimetres
  • Images are all fully framed, mounted and ready to hang
Specifications and requirements
  • The minimum gallery space required is 150 running metres or 250 square metres
  • Appropriate hanging apparatus is required for the images
  • The weight of the exhibition is about 320 kilogrammes and travels in approximately 11 cases
Merchandise

The 2009 merchandise collection this year is more extensive than ever. A selection of beautiful images from this year's competition adorns mini jigsaws, playing cards, mugs, art cards, postcards and posters, giving the visitor a memorable gift to take home. The Portfolio 19 book (BBC), containing all the 2009 images has been translated into Spanish, French, Greek, German and Finnish and is also available to sell.
