School visits

Mammoths: Ice Age Giants is open to school groups from Monday to Friday during term time until 7 September 2014.

The exhibition is suitable for primary and secondary stage students.

School pupils can visit the Mammoths exhibition for the discounted price of £3 per pupil. Accompanying adults go free.

To book discounted tickets call the schools booking team on telephone +44 (0)20 7942 5555. We need to receive payment at least two weeks in advance to secure your booking. Maximum group size is 50 pupils.

About the exhibition

Students will see rare specimens and objects alongside astonishingly lifelike models. They will take a journey through the Ice Age world set against dramatic landscapes and timelines. Along the way they will discover the latest scientific research into the reasons mammoths became extinct and understand the links to their surviving cousins, the elephant.
