Each year we have about 4 special exhibitions, from award-winning wildlife photography to explorations of the natural world, its science, preservation and artistic interpretation.
Most of our temporary exhibitions are ticketed.

From chomping caterpillars to beautiful butterflies, the Museum's front lawn is alive with the return of our popular outdoor butterfly exhibition. 29 March - 15 September 2013.
This exhibition takes you beyond dodos and dinosaurs to explore the crucial role extinction plays in the evolution of life. 8 February - 8 September 2013.
