Birds are a familiar sight, whether we live in bustling cities or peaceful countryside, yet thousands of species have disappeared in the last few hundred years. The famous dodo of Mauritius is not the only bird we've driven to extinction. Join us as we delve into the collections and discover tragic tales of birds now gone forever. We will learn about the impacts of overhunting, habitat destruction and disease, and find out what we can do to stop endangered birds from dying out.
