The Natural History Museum is home to more than 6 million plant specimens collected from all around the world over the past 300 years. From specimens collected by Charles Darwin to species only discovered in the last few years, they are all stored in the Museum's herbarium.

This amazing and ever-growing resource can tell us a lot about the changing diversity of plants on Earth and about the plants that humans have valued throughout history. Join us today to meet two scientists whose job it is to look after this astonishing collection and, via a live video link, to see into the collection itself.
