Neil Chalmers Seminar Room
Members only event
|15 April 2014||19:00 - 20:00|
This talk, in the centenary year of the First World War, will discuss key figures in the Museum’s history from the period. This includes those who were lost and those who came back, plus, a man who was left behind to fight his own battle at home in London.
Informed by geological mapping and research on lice and mosquitoes, the Archives holds letters from men at the front who became amateur natural historians to pass the time and others trying to rid their camp of insect infestations.
