Be inspired by nature on film

Take a breather on your Museum visit to enjoy some spectacular multi-screen film footage in the state-of-the-art Attenborough Studio.

You can drop in to watch our short films daily, but check times first. The films are free.

Check the films' showing times or ask at the Darwin Centre welcome area.

From historic wildlife documentary footage to panoramic landscape scenes, enjoy three 15-minute nature films shown daily in between the studio's programme of talks and shows.

The films were made with the BBC Natural History Unit and feature:

  • David Attenborough: Life on Camera, a captivating documentary celebrating Attenborough’s achievements with clips from his many BBC series.
  • Nature through the Lens, recounts key breakthroughs in wildlife film-making, featuring stunning imagery.
  • Wildscapes, a spectacular multi-screen film showing amazing high-definition footage of 3 different habitats in the ocean, African plains and the Arctic and Antarctic.
