Discovery guides
Our self-led guides are a stimulating and inspiring way for students aged 5-11 to explore the Museum while supporting learning relevant to their school studies.
Children are challenged to answer questions, make sketches, discuss ideas and evaluate evidence as they journey through the galleries. There are 6 guides in total – 3 for ages 5-7 and 3 for ages 8-11.
The guides available cover Mammals, Dinosaurs and Rocks and Soils. They are priced at £1 each and are available to buy from the information desk and the ticket desk in the Central Hall.
