Cocoon closure
From 20-24 May and 3-7 June 2013 the Darwin Centre’s Cocoon will be closed for essential work. It will be open as usual between 25 May and 2 June 2013. We apologise for any inconvenience.
The Power Within gallery closure
Until autumn 2013 the Red Zone's Power Within gallery, with its earthquake simulator and volcano room, is closed for refurbishment. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Investigate centre closures
The Investigate centre in the Museum's basement will be closed for gallery maintenance on the last Thursday of each month from 2.30pm, except when this falls in a school holiday. For full details please contact the Museum bookings office on +44 (0) 20 7942 5555.
