The Restaurant is a light, airy and comfortable space to relax and refuel. All our meals are prepared on the premises using fresh, carefully sourced ingredients.

Sandwiches and burgers

Snap up delicious deli-style sandwiches on ciabatta and classic burgers, all served with chips and seasonal coleslaw.

Freshly-made pizzas, salads and bakes

Delicious stone-baked pizzas are prepared and cooked in front of you in our pizza oven using fresh vegetables and cured meats. 

Our salads are also made to order with fresh ingredients from our deli counter. 

For more ferocious appetites, feast on classic pasta dishes and hearty oven-baked meals.

We also sell tasty pizzas and pasta dishes made with no gluten-containing ingredients. 

Daily specials, soups, snacks and sides

Check the daily specials board for our speciality meat and fish dishes. We also have a soup of the day, and lots of sides and snacks, like half a pint of succulent scampi with tartare sauce and focaccia with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Try combining snacks and sides to create your own meal.

Puddings and drinks

Make sure you leave room for one of our delicious desserts. Ask for our dessert of the day or treat yourself to other favourites. All our puddings are freshly made on the premises.

Need some refreshment? We have fair-trade espresso coffees, speciality loose-leaf teas, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies made with whole fresh fruit. There is also a great selection of wines, beers and ciders.

Afterwards, browse the huge range of gifts available in the nearby Museum Shop. The nearest Museum entrance for The Restaurant is on Cromwell Road.
