Last Friday of the month open until 22.30 for Lates, excluding December.

The Museum is open every day, including Sundays and bank holidays, but closed 24-26 December.

The Museum's step-free entrance is on Exhibition Road.

Earth Hall closure

The Earth Hall and globe escalator in the Red Zone will be closed from 16 November - 4 December while we install our new Stegosaurus skeleton. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Entering the Museum at the Exhibition Road entrance? Use the Earth Today and Tomorrow gallery to access the Blue, Green and Orange Zone galleries (including Hintze Hall and Dinosaurs).

Use the stairs or lift to reach the upper Earth galleries, including Volcanoes and Earthquakes.

Visiting our Museum at Tring?
Open Monday to Saturday 10.00-17.00 and Sunday 14.00-17.00. Go to our Tring website.

For your security, most areas of the Museum are protected by CCTV.

On entry to the Museum your bags and other personal items will be inspected. We advise you not to bring any sharp objects such as metal knives, forks, scissors, etc. to the Museum, as they may be confiscated.
