Floor plan

It's easy to find your way around the Museum, but you can use the floor plan to help organise your trip and make sure you don't miss any of the highlights.

To print the map, select the Print version link at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, the Museum's printed Guide contains floor plans and can be purchased from the information desk at the Akeman Street entrance.

Ground floor

Explore Gallery 1 with its birds, large carnivores and primates and see the latest temporary exhibition in Gallery 2. The shop and unisex toilet are also here.

Upper floors

Galleries 3 to 6 are home to a variety of animals. Don’t miss the zebras, flightless birds, marsupials, crustaceans or the collections of butterflies and other insects.  You can also find the Rothschild Room.

Basement and Lower basement floors

These floors are accessible either from the car park or via the lift and include the car park lift entrance, the Zebra Café and toilets.
