In it Sir David Attenborough introduces our plans to renovate the Central Hall, joined by other stars and Museum friends.
Support our ambitious I Love Dippy appeal online and help us raise money to renovate the Central Hall, Dippy's home.
Our much-loved and iconic Diplodocus, affectionately known as Dippy, is a memorable welcome to visitors as they enter the Central Hall. This magnificent hall is at the heart of the Museum and begins a journey of natural discovery for nearly 5 million people each year. We would like to breathe new life into this space and showcase more star specimens.
We require £8.5 million to complete the renovations to the Central Hall and we need your help to reach this target.
If you love the Museum and you want to make Dippy's home better, then this is a wonderful opportunity for you to show your support. Every donation will make a difference.
We plan to transform the hall into an exhilarating and inspirational space that previews the wonders that lie ahead for visitors exploring the Museum.
The I Love Dippy campaign has been shortlisted for an award in the Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign category of the Institute of Fundraising National Awards 2013.
