- The evolution of human cognition, particularly the evolution of speech and language.
- The archaeological evidence for hominin cognition.
- The evolution of modern human growth and development, particularly at adolescence.
- Modern human morphological variation.
- The relationship between hard and soft tissue and the associated skeletal markers for soft tissue
Employment at NHM
I joined the Museum in March 2006 as Repatriation Co-ordinator. In January 2008, I became Head of the newly formed Human Remains Unit.
