The database contains information on specimens in the Museum's mineralogy collection.
There are around 417,000 specimens and they are arranged in five groups:

If you cannot find the records you are looking for, please try searching different fields, or contact the database administrator.
Some records may have more information than others, reflecting priorities within our database strategy. We are currently working to fill these gaps and enhance the records with research related information.
Please be aware that information has been extracted from hand-written registers, so you may discover old classification or geographical terms. We are working to correct these.
Our aim is to deliver accurate data, so if you see an error please let us know.
